RunePluto Terms of Service

These terms set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities applicable to the use of RunePluto.

Please refer to the Privacy Policyfor information on the collection and use of personal data.

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users in connection with the use of RunePluto and related services.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Service: AI saju consultations, fortune content, and related services provided by the Company
  • User: Members and non-members who access and use the Service under these terms
  • Member: A user who agrees to these terms and creates an account
  • AI Consultant: An AI algorithm that provides responses based on a member’s saju data
  • Profile: Information entered for saju reading (nickname, gender, birth date/time, birthplace, etc.)
  • Token: Virtual payment units used for consultations within the Service
  • Paid Service: Content and services available through payment or subscription

Article 3 (Posting and Revision of Terms)

The Company shall post these terms within the Service so that users may readily review them.

The Company may revise these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law and shall provide notice at least seven (7) days in advance, or thirty (30) days in advance if the revision is materially unfavorable to users.

If a member does not consent to the revised terms, the member may terminate the agreement. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Chapter 2. Service Agreement and Management

Article 4 (Formation of Agreement)

An agreement is formed when a user applies after agreeing to these terms and the privacy policy, and the Company accepts such application.

Article 5 (Restrictions on Applications)

The Company may refuse to accept, or may later terminate, an application in the following cases:

  • Using another person’s name or personal information
  • Providing false information or omitting required details
  • Having previously been subject to restrictions under the Service policies

Article 6 (Management of Profile Information)

Users shall maintain accurate birth date/time (solar/lunar), birthplace, and related data to ensure proper analysis.

If a user enters another person’s information, it shall be deemed that the user has obtained that person’s consent, and all legal responsibility shall rest with the user.

Where additional information is entered to check compatibility or another person’s saju, consent shall likewise be deemed granted.

Chapter 3. Service Use and Paid Billing/Refunds

Article 7 (Service Content and AI Consultations)

The Company provides saju analysis, daily fortune content, and AI conversational consultations.

AI consultation results are interpretive references only and do not constitute absolute facts or professional advice.

Article 8 (Tokens and Subscriptions)

Users may purchase tokens via in-app payments or use subscription services.

Subscriptions provide benefits such as periodic token grants and are subject to the billing and cancellation policies of the applicable app store.

Article 9 (Withdrawal and Refund Policy)

Refund rule: Paid tokens may be withdrawn within seven (7) days of purchase only if unused.

Refund limitations: Refunds may be restricted under applicable e-commerce law in the following cases:

  • Any portion of tokens was used for AI consultation or results viewed
  • Benefits took effect immediately or subscription-only benefits were received
  • Free tokens granted via bonuses or events

Subscription cancellation: Even within seven (7) days, if benefits were used, refunds are not available for that month. Users may only cancel to prevent the next billing.

Refund channel: For in-app purchases, users must request refunds through each store’s customer center in accordance with the store’s policies.

Chapter 4. Use Restrictions and Safety

Article 10 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Service:

  • Unauthorized copying or distribution of content
  • Posting questions that violate public order, including crime encouragement, illegal filming, or hate speech
  • Disrupting the Service using automated programs (bots)

Article 11 (Refusal of Sensitive Questions)

The Company may refuse or limit responses to questions involving self-harm, suicide, or specialized medical or legal matters.

Chapter 5. Liability and Disclaimer

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

Consultation results are based on statistical and interpretive theories and are not guaranteed to be suitable for any specific purpose.

The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions due to force majeure, including disasters or maintenance.

The Company shall not be responsible for errors or token consumption caused by user negligence (such as incorrect profile entries).

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and resolved by courts of competent jurisdiction.

These terms take effect on 2026-03-01.
